Shadow Thundurus is a long-haul project running nearly a full month. Shadow Electric-type attackers are rare, and a well-powered Shadow Thundurus is one of the strongest Electric raiders in the game. You'll need to remove Frustration during a future Team GO Rocket takeover event before it reaches full potential, so start collecting now. Bring Rock- and Ice-type counters — it's a Flying-type, and those hit it hard.
Mega Houndoom in Mega Raids
Dates: Friday, September 11 at 6:00 a.m. — Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 p.m.
Mega Houndoom slides into the Mega Raid rotation over the weekend, running alongside Mega Beedrill. Dark-type raid support is always welcome, and Houndoom's Mega boost helps against the many Psychic- and Ghost-type bosses in the raid pool. Bring Water-, Ground-, Rock-, and Fighting-type counters.
Gible Community Day Classic
Dates: Saturday, September 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Gible spawns are boosted for three hours, shiny rates are dramatically increased, and evolving a Gabite during the event window (and for a short period after) earns you a Garchomp with Earth Power. Garchomp is one of the best Dragon- and Ground-type attackers in the game and a staple of Master League teams. If you only play one event this month, make it this one.
Houndour and Houndoom Spotlight Hour
Dates: Sunday, September 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A one-hour window with dramatically increased Houndour and Houndoom spawns, plus a rotating bonus. It pairs nicely with the Mega Houndoom raid rotation — catch a good Houndour, evolve it, and you've got a Mega candidate ready to go. Stock up on Pinap Berries beforehand.
Dynamax Rhyhorn during Max Monday
Dates: Monday, September 14 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Max Monday features Dynamax Rhyhorn in Max Battles across the entire day. Rhyhorn's final evolution, Rhyperior, is a genuinely strong Rock- and Ground-type attacker, which makes this one of the more rewarding Max Monday lineups we've had. Gather a squad and hit as many Max Battles as you can find.
Great League, Ultra League: Mega Edition, and Willpower Cup: Great League Edition
